We had booked the one and only disabled room in the hotel – a standard Room 303 - Accessible on the third floor. The room was spacious and the bathroom nice and large. All well appointed however showing the hotels age a little. On Sydney prices the room was cheap at $175 AUD per night, but the restaurant and bar prices were not, and avoided at all costs.
Photos of our Room:
Julie and Dave had been in Sydney for a night already, and had previously stayed here, so they had the lay of the land.
Our time was mostly spent shopping – Pete being the first and biggest spender of the entire holiday! First shop we walked into he purchased not one but two suits for work, which needed to be altered, and that was arranged so we could collect before we embarked on the cruise! Just as well Pete gets some of the cost reimbursed by work, otherwise that was the entire holidays spend done!
Julie and Dave had sorted a brilliant organic café for breakfasts for the next two mornings and the food was wonderful. As for dinners, the first night was at a local bar/café and nothing flash as Julie was still recovering from a bad cold and the second night was more a challenge, as the accessible restaurants were few and far between. I suppose if we had walked towards Circular Quay we would have found something nicer and pricier. Oh well, next time.
