I have had to let Peter know what the surprise is as the amount of luggage I am wanting to take is becoming an issue!
I have managed to upgrade our Air NZ economy "The Works" Tickets to "Works Deluxe"; meaning we get Premium Check-in, twice the Luggage ( 2 x 23 kgs bags EACH), Business Class Airport Lounge access, a seat between us in economy, and noise cancelling headphones!
The relief of Pete's face when he finally realised what this meant! We are taking over a cabin sized bag and a small suitcase for my niece Kate who moved to Sydney on the 28th November, and could not take all her luggage.
The next task was to rearrange to contents of the bags. We decided to take two big bags (putting Kate's cabin bag inside one) spread the contents around so we had two reasonably heavy bags and two smaller bags to check-in plus just the computer bag with the Netbook etc as carry-on. Not forgetting we had the wheelchair and the walker! DONE.
