The countdown to Queenstown is on, but first we will head to Taupo.
We have close friends we met on a V8 Supercars tour in 2006 who are tying the knot on Labour Weekend Saturday. And just to top it off Bob has asked Pete to be Best Man!
So we have a short holiday before the holiday. We will stay at our usual Motel - Beechtree in Taupo.
The wedding is being held on Bob and Janet's lifestyle block just north of Taupo - Riverstone Ranch. Sounds like the theme is 'Cowboy mets town girl' as the guys are wearing Stetson Hat's etc! So it should be fun.
Today we are experiencing the last winter storm - driving rain and strong winds! So this should blow through before next weekend.
On the 'disabled' front, I had a visit from the OT's this week to reassess my powerchair needs. This will be interesting. For starts they did not have my records so did not know I had been under Mobility Solutions since the late 90's! But the girls were good and are working on a proposal to Accessable for a new chair to 'fit' their strict criteria - which does not count how you would like to access the world outside your home???? Oh well, just have to wait and see....
